IncrementalValidationConfig

Configuration for the incremental validation hook.

Properties

debounceMs?

optional debounceMs?: number;

Default debounce for async rules. Default 300ms.

rulesKey?

optional rulesKey?: unknown;

Explicit re-validation signal for rule-logic changes (compared with Object.is). Rules always run against their latest closures whenever they run, but a rule only re-runs when one of its dependsOn or revalidateOn values changes — so a closure whose captured inputs changed (e.g. a threshold from props) keeps its previous result until values move. Change this key to force every rule to re-evaluate.

Pass the captured inputs themselves when practical (rulesKey: minAmount). Rule-array identity is deliberately NOT used as the signal: consumers naturally build rules inline, and a fresh-identity trigger would re-dispatch state on every render — with RPC-backed async rules, each completion re-renders and re-triggers, an infinite loop.
